Hallo Liste,
zur OSGeo kommt die 4.0 Version der OSGeoLiveDVD heraus, die durch den
Einsatz vieler Einzelpersonen in den letzten Monaten zusammengestellt
wurde und die aktuellen Softwareprojekte der OSGeo sowie weiterer Projekte
präsentiert.

Diese DVD eignet sich sicherlich sehr gut zu Marketingzwecken.
Außerdem wurden Präsentationen erstellt, die die Projekte auf der DVD
vorstellen, die auf Messen sehr gut genutzt werden könnten [2].
Über die Liste kam nun die Frage nach einer Mehrsprachigkeit der DVD auf.
Ich hatte erwähnt, dass wir die DVD gerne auf der Intergeo verteilen
würden.
Nun ist die Frage, ob wir gerne eine deutschsprachige Dokumentation
Version der DVD bis zur Intergeo 2010 aufbauen möchten. Von Seiten des
Projektes wäre dies möglich, da vor allem Übersetzungen erfolgen müssten.
Hierzu müssten etwa 60 bis 100 Seiten in den nächsten 4 Wochen übersetzt
werden [3].
Einige Übersetzungen würden sicherlich von Leuten aus den Projekten
durchgeführt werden können (QGIS, Mapbender, deegree, GeoServer...).
Wenn wir die deutschsprachige Version der DVD bis zur Intergeo anstoßen
möchten, wäre es toll, wenn sich noch ein paar Freiwillige für die
Übersetzungen finden würden.
Was haltet ihr von dem Projekt?
