German OSGeo personalities,

Germany is one of the most prominent nationalities in the OSGeo
community, with two very successful German conferences (FOSSGIS and
InterGeo), 13 contributors to OSGeoLive, 6 OSGeoLive translators, 5
charter members, and the president of the OSGeo board.

As such, I'm hoping that over the next few days you will all be able to
find the time to add your profiles to the OSGeo Advocate web page.
(Thanks to those of you already added). I see this page as a way to show
the quality, and geographic diversity of our OSGeo Community, and
present us in a professional and consistent manner. In doing so, we will
be debunking the myth that OSGeo is made up of "Hackers in Garages", and
make it much easier for organisations to trust, and then deploy OSGeo
based systems.
