[FOSSGIS-Talk] attribute table

Hi
i want to fill in a text column automatically-- with the field calculator it
doesn´t functionate!

I´m using qgis lisboa 1.8, on windows 7 professional.
I´ve made a new field (text; string, 50). When i fill it string by string
with the text there´s no  problem, but if i want to fill it automatically
with the field calculator, its just possible to fill in numbers, no text. If
i quote the text, there comes the error message :

What do i do wrong?
