LocationTech is a vendor neutral community for individuals and
organizations who wish to collaborate on commercially friendly open
source software that is location aware. LocationTech hosts technology
projects and helps cultivate both an open source community and an
ecosystem of complementary products and services.

Code for Germany is a program supported by the Open Knowledge Foundation
Germany. The goal of the program is to promote developments in
transparency, open data, and civic technology. The network has grown to
20 labs in different cities and is made up of a community of over 300
volunteers. The labs are regional groups that meet regularly in order to
use open data to create useful applications.

This event is the first LocationTech Tour Stop in Berlin! The Tour is a
federated series of global events featuring the best in open source
geospatial technology and open data initiatives. The Berlin's meetup
will feature a series of short talks, complementary drinks, camaraderie,
and learning.


In case you have software, data, projects, and/or initiatives which are
just waiting to be opened for an interested crowd then this is your
opportunity. There are still some time slots reserved for you. So give
it a try and present your work or those of friends within 5-10 minutes.
