   18. November 2015 - Fünfter GIS Day am Deutschen GeoForschungsZentrum
   GFZ: Erster Aufruf für Beiträge
   Hiermit möchten wir zum 5. GIS Day auf den Telegrafenberg am 18.
   November 2015 einladen.
   Seit  fast 20 Jahren wird der GIS Day als globale Veranstaltung
   alljährlich im November begangen. Bei unserer Veranstaltung sollen
   GIS-Projekte in einer praxisorientierten Werkschau vorgestellt werden.
   Anwender von Geoinformationssystemen und Entwickler von
   GIS-Erweiterungen, egal ob lokale oder webbasierte Anwendungen, haben
   hierbei die Möglichkeit Einblicke in ihre Arbeit mit dem Werkzeug GIS
   zu geben.
   Wir laden alle ein, die sich als Wissenschaftler/in, Techniker/in oder
   in Studium und Ausbildung mit dem Thema GIS beschäftigen. Für das
   Tagesprogramm sind kurze Präsentationen (ca. 15 Minuten) zu den
   vielfältigen Einsatzszenarien von GIS geplant. Es können ebenso Poster
   und/oder Multimedia-Produktionen (Animationen/Videos) vorgestellt
   werden. Die Beiträge können in Deutsch oder Englisch verfasst sein. Die
   Verkehrssprache des GIS Day wird jedoch Deutsch sein. Die Veranstaltung
   ist für alle Teilnehmer kostenfrei und externe Gäste sind ebenfalls
   herzlich eingeladen. Bitte leiten Sie diese E-Mail gerne an Kollegen

   November 18th 2015 - 5th GIS Day at GFZ German Research Center for
   Geosciences: First Call for Contributions
   Herewith we invite you to the 5th GIS Day at the campus Telegrafenberg
   on 18th of November 2015.
   For nearly 20 years the GIS Day is celebrated as a global event every
   November to present GIS projects in hands-on showcases. Users of
   geographic information systems and developers of GIS extensions,
   whether local or Web-based applications, have the opportunity to give
   an insight into their work with GIS tools.
   We invite all those who are concerned as scientist, technician or in
   study and training with the theme GIS. Short presentations (about 15
   minutes) are planned for the various application scenarios of GIS for
   the day's program. Beside the talks also posters and / or multimedia
   productions (animation / videos) are welcome. Contributions may be
   written/given in German or English. The lingua franca of GIS Day will
   however be German.
   The event is free of costs for participants and external guests are
   also welcome to attend. Please forward this e-mail also to your
